Two jobs in the hills of Lansdowne, both handed over early
Work for the Military Engineer Services at Lansdowne, home of the Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre, at about 1,700 metres in the Garhwal hills.
What we built
The restoration of the water supply reservoir and its ancillaries, under contract CA CEB/DN/01 of 2001-02, worth ₹133.93 Lac. Then two training sheds for the Regimental Centre, under contract CA CEB(Hills)/DDN/LDN/05 of 2002-03, worth ₹31.35 Lac.
How it went
The reservoir was handed over on 18 December 2002, three days before its contracted date. The training sheds followed on 26 April 2003, a day early.
